Job Description
Santa Rosa Medical Imaging Clinic is looking for a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Specialist (Sonographer) to join our team in Curaçao. Our clinic is committed to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services, and we seek a dedicated professional with expertise in ultrasound imaging to support accurate medical diagnoses.
Requirements:
Degree or certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
Proven experience as an ultrasound specialist / sonographer in a clinical setting.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound techniques.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the medical team.
Excellent patient care skills and attention to detail.
Fluency in English and Papiamento and/or Dutch is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in areas such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, musculoskeletal, vascular, and small parts imaging.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure clear and accurate imaging.
Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.
Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
Keep detailed and accurate patient records for reporting and follow-up.
Maintain compliance with medical and safety standards, following all clinic protocols and industry best practices.
Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
