Job Description
Santa Rosa Medical Imaging Clinic is seeking a skilled and experienced X-Ray Specialist (Radiologic Technologist) to join our diagnostic imaging team in Curaçao. Our clinic is committed to delivering high-quality radiology services, and we need a dedicated professional to perform X-ray imaging with precision and care.
Requirements:
Degree or certification in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
Licensed and certified to operate radiologic equipment.
Proven experience as an X-ray specialist / radiologic technologist in a clinical setting.
Strong understanding of anatomy, radiation safety, and imaging techniques.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a medical team.
Excellent patient care skills and attention to detail.
Fluency in English and Papiamento and/or Dutch is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Operate X-ray and radiographic imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
Work closely with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate interpretation of images.
Position patients correctly to ensure optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
Maintain strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
Keep detailed and accurate patient records and prepare reports as needed.
Maintain and calibrate X-ray equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards.
Educate patients on procedures and safety measures before performing X-ray exams.
Stay up to date with advancements in radiologic technology and best practices.
